At Peter Pan, we prioritize individual growth and social development through a play-based education approach. Our curriculum is designed to engage children in meaningful experiences that promote exploration, creativity, and collaboration. We understand that children learn best when they are actively involved in their environment, and our play-based philosophy allows them to do just that.
Each day is filled with exciting activities that encourage exploration and imagination, from process-oriented art projects to building with a variety of blocks and loose parts. Our children enjoy the freedom to move between indoor and outdoor spaces, engaging in sand and water play, riding Big Wheels, and diving into imaginative adventures. Our play-based curriculum empowers kids to manage their own time and work at their own pace, fostering independence and confidence. Each day, we come together for optional share time and group activities, where we sing, move, and tell stories, creating a sense of community and connection. The Game/STEAM Room is a haven for creativity, stocked with paint, crayons, scissors, paper, and clay, while Play-Doh is always on hand for endless fun. Kids can build giant towers of magnatiles or read in the lofts. Outside, children can explore our dynamic play areas featuring sand and water play, slides, swings, tunnels, monkey bars, and bike paths. The Block Room is a treasure trove of imaginative play, complete with a playhouse, loft, large building blocks, dress-up clothes, drums, dolls, cars, trains, dinosaur figures, and more. During our daily group time, we dive into stories, improvisational music, body movement, rhythm activities, and traditional children’s songs. Our optional PM Program (separate fee) includes a delicious hot lunch and plenty of free play. Parents may participate as paid parent/teachers. |
